What did you all get for christmas? I got...
R/C Hovercraft
£160 towards laptop (look down)
Spyro Eternal Night for DS and Shrek 3 for PS2
Age of Empires III + Expansion Pack
Some other stuff I can't remember.
Of course, i'd already saved up about £450. That + £160 = Lotsa money. Probably not as much as you've saved in your vast piggy bank but still a lot. I'll do the math for you, that makes about £610.
So we went into PC World the day after boxing day and came out with a box with my laptop in. Cost about £549, and it had this specification:
Core 2 Duo Processor T5450 @ 1.66GHz 1.67GHz
120GB HDD (This later turned out to be: one 69.7GB partition and one 66.1GB partition. That's 135.8GB instead of 120GB. Nice.)
2GB RAM. Actually 2038MB of RAM, which is 10MB off my target. Damn.
Windows Vista Home Premium. (Do NOT criticize me on this. Vista is better than XP even if it hasn't improved on it much. So neh. If you disagree with me, wait until Vista's first or second service pack.)
It's an Acer. So Emor was right (
And what did I get for my laptop? Anybody who knows me from MSN should know, i've been on about it for ages now. Half Life 2 and Garry's Mod! Hooray! Half Life 2 is pretty good, although I stopped part way through due to creepiness (when I got the crowbar and broke the wood the music went tense). Garry's Mod isn't creepy mind, and I have great fun building and stuff ^^ - They cost me £15 together. I have little money left.
And er, that's my Christmas stuff. (I only told you the item stuff 'cause the rest is boring to other people [Oh okay, we had christmas dinner ^^])
